Like for example as the Chairman of MPSEDC, he turned around an 18 years loss making unit of the company into profit making healthy financial units and even recovered all losses incurred in 18 years. Through this he proved his skills of managing various affairs and analysing the areas where one is lacking and needs improvement. In this manner, he is willing to use his analytical skill in developing the institute.
As the board member of Jute Corporation of India, Calcutta, he had organised strategic planning sessions for weak area analysis, and motivated marketing department and implemented recovery strategies. Thus he is very much capable of analysing the needs of an organisation, strategising a practical and useful plan and implementing the plan for the desired result.
Since as a member of Prasar Bharti, he was an in-charge in Finance and Audit committee and Personnel Committee, he is aware of the financial functionalities of an organisation. This and more such areas that he has worked in, has always helped him to learn something more from what he knew, thus always adding on to the knowledge he has. Dr Kapoor is aiming to use all that assimilated knowledge and experience in enhancing the infrastructure, educational functionality and the administration of the RKDF University in Bhopal.
